Shane Victorino.. Has been a very nice surprise..

Victorinos been hitting great since Rowands been out, im assuming he will go straight back to the bench with Rowand coming back this weekend.. Considering they have no where to put them.. What are everyones thoughts on Victorino? I think he could be a stud if they keep him in the lineup..

Is this the same Victorino that stunk it up with the Pads a few years back as a rule fiver? If it is, then pass.

It is all irrelevant at this point since Roward is back Saturday and Victorino will be back on the bench or back in AAA.

Regardless though as an OF'er on a team with Abreu, Burrell and Rowand his value will be limited unless there's an injury.

Or Abreu could be traded for pitching(Burrell is the other possibility). It's no secret Abreu is not loved in the orginization. The guy's a dandy, and a cry baby. He is also very good, which means he's their number 1 bargaining chip. Victorino could be a nice fit here, because it would allow Rollins to bat 2nd. My dream would be to trade Abreu for a 3B, but now I'm just wishful drinking.

Victorino
Rollins
Utley
Burrell
Howard
Rowand
Bell
Lieby

You now have plenty of speed and power in that lineup, and a better OF with Rowand and Victorino.

no chance of vicky moving to 3b?

not hating on d.bell, who's a consummate professional, but if victorino could jump in at 3b, it would be HUGE for philly.

i'm presuming there's no talk of this, huh?

b
yeah, yes...
