I have an open spot due to a Meche/Matos for Thome deal where I receive Thome of course. Obviously Looper is my weak spot now, any suggestions for the stretch run?

Thats a good team that should contend. You have more 3rdbaseman than you need though. Suppan's value really isnt going to increase that much. He has always been hit hard in the AL and aside from Tampa, playing the rest of the east he will be lucky to keep his ERA under 4.00 during the stretch run division play. Try and trade Suppan with a 3rd baseman for a RP upgrade. To my surprise it looks as though Looper shall remain the closer in Florida but you might want to think about aquireing Urbina as well.
