I don't know the gentleman's name, but the Mets' radio play-by-play man has impressed me an awful lot since I got XM. He has an annoyingly shrill voice, as do a lot of people on the Eastern seaboard, but the level of detail he provides during a broadcast is among the best in the game. He talks pretty fast, which takes some getting used to, but when contrasted against some of the radio play-by-play announcers that start rambling along on their own tangents and then tell you about a pitch a few seconds after it happened and just before the next one, he is really one of the best out there.
