Why would they trade him in April, in case you didnt notice teams are willing to give up more at the deadline when they have explored all their other options and failed. Only then, when they have no other option and are seeking to improve their rotation will they give up the most, whether the pitcher is hot or not.
Thats the main difference between real life gm's and fantasy gm's. Fantasy gm's, which is who you are associating with, try to trade their players based on their performance. Real life gm's trade their players when other real life gm's are most inclined to trade.
Also, SS should not be the position they would try to upgrade. Ronny Cedeno is doing fine and will only get better
