Triples -- I'd rather have a double

It just bugs me that in my league a we count doubles, but get nothing for triples (other than one extra Total Base). I don't want to add more categories since we already have too many -- 19. But I wish there was some way that triples could be counted with doubles.

You should have an extra base hit-HR category instead of 2B. Triples are still nice if you count OPS or Slugging.

We have the same problem in our league...we count doubles but not triples. ARam hit a triple today, and I was pissed because I'm behind in doubles this week. It sucks, but there's not enough guys who hit enough triples for it to be a real stat.

In one of our CBS leagues, we use Doubles + Triples as a stat. And in the other, we use Total Bases.

i used tb in the league i commish this year instead of hr, h and 2b. i wanted to reward a good slugging percentage, but not have hrs and slg%. including both seemed kind of redundant. its good to reward triples hitters, they work hard for that extra ninety feet.
