Yeah, I had Jae Seo trotting out there in one of my deep leagues. He should've gotten shelled in that outing, but yeah, the Rox 3B coach was frustrated with the first called out at the plate, and on the second time around, the guy was out by a mile.

Dodgers are a "who knows?" kind of team.... If Nomar. Penny and J.D. Drew stay healthy, and Gagne comes back, they can beat anybody.... Those are BIG BIG BIG ifs though. They've also got a core of young guys getting better...

Agreed. The Dodgers will be a hit-or-miss team, but right now, they're jelling well, which gives you a glimpse of how good this team can be if all the variables are in place. A Saito-Baez-Gagne 1-2-3 punch could be just as good as Quantrill-Mota-Gagne from a few years back. If Furcal can get on base often and the likes of Nomar, Penny, Drew, and Gagne can be healthy, they're an NL West contender. I don't think any NL West team has the inside track, but if there is a team that can stand out, it could be the Dodgers if all goes according to plan.

Anyone else surprised that the NL West teams just keep winning?

I noticed that myself yesterday, isn't it ironic given how much shite this division got from everyone last season. They've been especially dominant against teams from the NL Central from memory.

They got it because they deserved it. Simple fact of the matter is the Dodgers have Drew back and got Furcal and Nomar to improve themselves a lot...the Rox have for the moment at least been getting respectable pitching and Fuentes continued from where he left off last season, and the Giants have Bonds back and an effective/somewhat healthy Jason Schmidt.
