I just heard that Hamels has been scratched from his start tomorrow due to soreness in his elbow. No immeadiate reason to be concerned but due to his injury history its not promising. It also could throw a wrench in next week if ppl are in weekly lineup leagues where he is scheduled for two starts next week. On a side note , i hope its not serious because living in philly we need something to cheer us up, as usual our teams have been letting us down.

Soler will be opposed Wednesday by Jon Lieber (3-5, 5.81), who is taking the place of Cole Hamels after the rookie experienced soreness in the back of his left shoulder while throwing in the outfield Tuesday.
Hamels, who has not earned a decision in his first two starts while compiling a 3.18 ERA, will return to Philadelphia on Wednesday for an evaluation.
The Curse of Ryan Madson returns.
