Ryan Madson has already pitched 4 innings of relief in tonight's Mets-Phillies extra innings contest. This means that he shouldn't be available tomorrow to (again) ruin Hamels' chance at his first ML win!

Madson is back out in the bottom of the 13th to start his 5th inning of relief...

Cole Hamels has learned from his last outing. He will no longer be modest and throw "balls," but rather throw 27 pitch perfect games, leaving madson no chance to blow it.

Madson just finished his 6th inning of relief.
Ironically, this performance so far probably equates to his best "start" of the year.

I was thinking along the same lines, myself.
Any chance the Mets will give Beltran the day off tomorrow, as a result? I have him on my money league team and would need to make adjustments.

Madson just gave up a walk-off solo shot to Beltran in the bottom of the 16th, his 8th inning of relief.

I doubt Beltran would get the day off tomorrow because of tonights game, Endy Chavez would be his replacement and he played the whole game too.

I believe Super Manny was right ... I wish Madson had a 'start' this solid back when I had him on my roster.
