Although I've been a White Sox fan my whole life my favorite player comes from the north side, Mark Grace. He had the most hits in the 90's and had a good sense of humor when he was interviewed.

Tris Speaker??? How old ARE you? His career spanned from 1907-1928 so I'm guessing you're just joking. He was an all time great though, that's for sure.
My answer: Tony Fernandez. Great glove, could really swing the bat, and was oh so clutch. A quiet, unassuming personality, but an assassin at the plate
I was a HUGE Justice fan! I even begin watching all Indians games and buying the products when he got traded to them. But all three of those guys have the same birthday as me which is another reason i like them all so much.
Other favs!
Mike Piazza
Roger Clemens
Jim Thome
Wade Boggs
Hideki Matsui
Rob Nen
Otis Nixon
Mark Lemke

He was a great player, and I loved him when he played.
He is a god awful announcer for the D'backs now, and I just want him to shutup.
His on-the-air "swearcast" last year was hilarious though.
