My Team after a trade. Will Help in Return!!

I just traded Freel and Shelton for Sabathia
I'm still waiting on Tex's revival and Aram thankfully has been showing signs of life.

After trading Shelton I was thinking of moving Smoltz for a bat. Would this be wise, or should I hang on to all my starters.

When the deal goes through (for C.C.) I'll also have an open roster spot. Of course, when Harden comes back I'll have to drop whoever I picked up anyway.

Where do I need to improve? Any comments and suggestions will be very much appreciated!

Thanks for your comment. I really like the deal for Sabathia. I don't think I'd trade Smoltz now though. With so many inconsistent or unproven guys, I'd like to hold on to the one steady guy you have. At least until Harden comes back. But if you can get a really great deal for a hitter, go for it. But I'd want to see you sell Smoltz really high. You could use a better guy at Util down the road though.

really solid team, but I think right now what I would do is try to trade one of your good starters for another outfielder. Gibbons should be upgraded, and Harden will be coming back soon, so try to sell high on a guy like Sabbathia maybe and get a good outfielder like Holliday. That should help.

Great trade...CC Sabathia had another great start today...I would keep Smoltzy as well. ALthough it would be nice to add another bat like a Holliday...however, Gibbons is underrated (his mom just passed away so he will miss a few games)...I would hold strong on what you got but keep an eye out on Hamels (shoulder stiffness and he missed his start today)...Good Luck!!!
