Looks about right. And reinforces my belief that although pitchers, as a whole are volatile, the top guys are pretty steady.

Pitchers, pre-season, who might've made that list: RJ, either of last year's Cy Young winners, Sheets? But the top 7 look pretty expected. And Kazmir was generally expected to be top-20, if not top-10, around here.

Other notable mentions: Beckett if you take out 2 starts; Mussina; Arroyo; Contreras; Penny; Capuano; Glavine?

Not too many top 10 suprises at this point. Only Webb and Kazmir are shocking to me.. are hitters and pitchers equally predictible this year??

This wasn't based off stats. It's ranks going in to the year, mixed with this year and overall the order. Of course Arroyo has been great but still doesn't belong in the company of the original list.
