Bad timing on that article and I don't really agree with it. (And I'm not just saying that because he went on a tear right after the article came out, I would have said the same thing a week ago.)

Manny hasn't had great protection with Trot or Tek hitting behind him. I think when Crisp comes back, the Sox could put Youk in the 5 spot, and I think that would make a huge difference for him.

The guy isn't going to get any better, but his decline won't be a steep one. I think the guy who wrote that article is just trying a little shock journalism.
