I'd let my son try it if I thought he could do it, and I'd be right there with him in case something went wrong. It's a whole lot safer than some of the stuff people try to do.

Yeah, there would definitely be a lot of intangibles to go over first, safety issues, but I would allow my son to do it if I felt it was safe enough to do so.
