Okay, so I'm having a problem with my mouse. I can't move it to the left side of the screen period. I can move it up and down on the far right side of the screen, but that's it. It is the standard mouse that came with my comp. Besides it being dirty, I am going to try another mouse soon, are there any logical explanations?
P.S. I've tried Googling it and nothing really came up.
That same thing happened to my mouse. I immediately went out and bought a new Logitech optical wireless mouse and it's great, although the arrow moves VERY fast, takes some time getting used to.

Sometimes if it won't move in one direction only, when you remove the ball, you can fix the problem by bending the little sensor inward (a little metal arm) towards the ball. It may just not be making contact.

that's for windows, obviously.

Thanks, but it's already on the slowest speed. I think it's just that the mouse is really sensitive compared to my last one.
Agreed about the optical mouse way to go but, for now, you can unscrew it and remove the ball. Wipe that down but also wipe down the rollers inside. They tend to get lint on them and then they don't respond correctly.
