Ian Kinsler return delayed

Kinsler delayed: The Rangers were planning to activate second baseman Ian Kinsler off the disabled list on Monday. But after going 2-for-5 on rehab assignment with Triple-A Oklahoma on Saturday night, he showed up at the ballpark in Salt Lake City on Sunday with a sore hamstring.

He was immediately scratched from the lineup, temporarily delaying his return to the Major Leagues.

"He's not going to be activated [Monday]," manager Buck Showalter said. "From there, we'll just see."

Very aggravating. Every time I read about some ballplayer sitting out because of a sore hammy or a tight back, argh. These guys should spend a few days with a hockey player.
