Was I only lucky in the begginning???

I play head to head 12 man leauge (5x5). I am in first place but got spanked this week by a mediocre team. Was I lucky in the start or can this team challenge? Any tweaks with the pitching?

Should be able to be competitive with the team each week. Not overpowering, but very solid.
