Kinsler updates??

Yahoo notes suggested that he'd be back for this weekend's series against HOU. Any further news?

he's exected back this week, but not to his starting role....all indications are that he will be on the bench with derosa starting 2b, and kinsler getting starts when derosa gives another infielder,or outfielder a day off.

Kinsler due back Monday: Second baseman Ian Kinsler is expected to be activated off the disabled list on Monday when the Rangers return to Ameriquest Field in Arlington. Kinsler has been on the disabled list since April 12 with a dislocated thumb.

Kinsler was hitting .476 in eight games before he was hurt, but Mark DeRosa went into Sunday's game hitting .343.

Manager Buck Showalter said Kinsler will continue to play second base while DeRosa will go back to being used at multiple positions as a way to keep him in the lineup.




seems the tune of buck has changed some.
