Update: Crawford is apparently still bothered by a nagging wrist injury, as he's still wrapping his left wrist before each game, the Tampa Tribune reports.
Recommendation: According to the report, Crawford says his wrist still hurts slightly, especially when he swings; sometimes he finds himself pulling his top hand off the bat as he follows through on his swing. That would certainly explain Crawford's lack of power so far this season. He has just one homer on the year and is slugging just .342; last year, he hit 15 dingers while posting a .469 slugging average. This is the type of injury that could bother Crawford all season, but will likely heal with offseason rest; in keeper leagues, this may be your best opportunity to buy low on Crawford.
