I was just wondering what everyone thought about both these games compared to each other. Also i got the first post in this brand new forum ;-D

There is no MVP Baseball 2006. You have to buy 2005 and mod it.

technically, there is a MVP 06. But the modded version is awsome, now they are talking about replacing the intro videos 8-o

They adjusted some settings so pitching is a lot harder in the modded version(must...throw...a...strike)

Actually I like it hard. It's originally way too easy.

I really like the 06 patch it makes the game lots of fun. Thank god for computer nerds who can dedicate their time to this ;-D

.....MLB 06 the Show is way better than 2k6 so I think the Show deserves to be in this discussion. Much better game, more realistic and you actually have to have a good eye to hit.

I've got my MVP 2005 all tricked out. There's a new datafile that was just released that makes it incredibly realistic, with new ball trajectories, camera angles, etc. KGBaseball is also working on a new roster set that basically combines SwinginSoriano's roster with Ultimate Minors. It's going to be insane. Sweet game, for sure! ;-D

how exactly do you do that? what do you have to buy?
