Everyone talks about this, but I've never managfed to experience it myself. The outfielders seem quite normal when I play.
I've experienced this quite a bit. You hit a ball in the gap, and it rolls to the wall and sometimes can't even get a double out of it. A bunch of things like that happen to me all the time. Even with rapidly pressing the button for turbo. Also, I threw out Aaron Rowand at first base on the force with a line drive to LF.

This is the main thing. The fielders are a bit slow to respond initially, and any change in your running direction takes too long to make. Plus, the middle-infielders seem to take their time throwing to first.
This is also wicked annoying. Today I was in the top of the 9th of a 1-1 game and there was 1 on 1 out. Endy Chavez hits a ground ball to 2B. Double play ball. Aaron Miles flips the ball to Eckstein at 2nd, and Eckstein just stands there and the ball goes by him. He didn't even attempt ot catch it.
What level do you guys play on? I'm at All-Star now. Sometimes I'll win 16-1 and other times it's a really close game.
