Any info on his return? I started him yesterday thinking he would be back in the lineup but he wasn't. Is he in the lineup today?

i asked this yesterday.

He's not even activated yet...they might wait until Sunday to do so I heard because they still need to make room, they just haven't decided how yet.

They didn't activate him because they wanted him to get more minor league ABs in. Maybe in the next week or so will he be activated. Who knows...

Looks like Tuesday is the best bet...

Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports:

Hermida is on a rehab assignment this weekend in the Tampa area. On Saturday, the right fielder played for Class A Jupiter at Dunedin. He will play six more innings in Dunedin on Sunday and then fly home with the Marlins.

Manager Joe Girardi said Hermida could be activated on Monday or Tuesday when the Marlins face the Cubs at Dolphin Stadium. The Cubs on Monday are starting left-hander Sean Marshall, which could be a tough matchup for the left-handed-hitting Hermida.

A lot depends on whether he gets the #2 spot back.

If he does (which I hope he does), he should get a lot of good pitches to hit with M-Cab and Willingham hitting well. And Hamley should do a good job setting the table.

Not a bad 1-4 actually.
