I dont understand how it could be villareal... He has 4 blown saves this year and his ERA is terrible.

Villareal's ERA is 3.26, hardly terrible. You would have a much better case talking about his 1.46 WHIP, but thats not exactly terrible either.

Villarreals problem is inherited runners, hence the low era - high WHIP.

Villareal 4 blown saves MEAN NOTHING. People don't understand ALL OF Those blown saves where when he came into the game with like the bases loaded and up by 1 run. If Resithma came in, in those situations he would be sitting on 16 blown saves.

I doubt Kenny Ray willl close, cuz well he is kenny ray. Villareal is the probably the next option but i agree he isnt that good. Devine is NOT even close thats ridiculous, he won't be closing for at least another year.

Villareal is the guy to grab, i doubt he will be that effective, so get him at ur own risk.

Villareal lets up runs 3.26 for a closer is pretty weak. Of course its better then Reitsma...

You can't think he's that bad? Granted he's not had the best of starts, his control seems a little off to me, but you must be able to see the potential? His BAA against is at .225, which is pretty good concidering the pressure he's been under in virtualy every app.

I keep telling you, he's bad. He's really bad in the 7th, he doesn't have the stuff, and he doesn't have the "closer's mentality." I shudder at the thought of seeing him in the 9th. He's worse than Reitsma, honestly. I haven't seen a good thing from him this year.
