Many yrs ago I had BOTTENfield of Dreams for a team name. Since then it has been WINfield of Dreams, or SHEFfield of Dreams. Both have brought me championships.

My teams usually go by VegasRebels...but I have thought up a great new name. The Ragin Roadies...we never stay home...were always on the road.

Fantasy Baseball - I name my keep team names The Unbreakable, The One etc always starts with the. If its just for one season I usually use the name of Bench Warmers.

Fantasy Basketball - I use the names of Outside Shooters & I Own The Paint.

when i won my league last year my team name was: "Where is Jose Lind?"

i miss good ole' chico. i was a buco's fan and he was sweet. he couldn't hit the ball but who cared, he could jump high.

Last years champions for me was named "Theater of Pain". I was watching a behind the music of Motley Crue and that was one of their albums. I thought it was a good name for a team.

This years team will be called the "24 inch pythons".

My teams reflect reginality until they get a personality , then they change . SacTowm Maulers is my chosen starting name .

Last year was my first Baseball Fantasy team and I made several mistakes during the draft , like drafting for position cuz I thought I NEEDED one for each .. was dumb but not too costly. I took 3rd in a 12 person h2h which is better than I expected. They were called the Waivorwire Wonders. When someone got impatient with a great player , I'd scoop em up. At the end I was a formidable team with the best 2nd half record .

I have been commish for 9 years of a 10 team NL-only dynasty league and my team name in that league is "Pete Rose's Bookie".

I think the entire Mars thing has turned me on to astronomy and as a result I have been naming my teams after planets/celestial objects. One thing I have found is that it makes it easier for me to remember which team is which since I am a fantasy junkie.

Other dynasty team names include:

Basketball- Sprockets (I have Nowitzki)
Football- Decatur Staleys (Bears original name)
Hockey- Lee Jun Fan (Bruce Lee's real name)
