heyya, The team name I chose was The Valar, Im something of a huge Tolkien lover and the collective name for the Godlike being in his book The Silmarillion struck me as having something of a majesty and uniquness about it. So it was what I chose and to tell the truth it seemed to work for me lol as I won my league. All kidding aside though, I like a name that has a bit of dignity to it.

"X-Factor". There's always an uncontrollable element in any game played that affects the outcome. That was my team.

Even though the guy who dropped his whole team for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays did make a big difference in one of my leagues.

TheSluggingGrimaces - after McDonald's Grimace. I've always been a Grimace fan. If he played baseball he'd smash 100 homers easy.

Frequent Fliers - won my league with this team. Let's just say Lance Berkman was my worst hitter.

After the first five games of my rookie season, marked by my team's abysmal hitting, I selected a name to reflect the fine effort of my team, which stuck for the remainder of the season.

Hence, the "Ueckerites".

For baseball:I was DK for my first year, then after i won, my name was "DK Back for da Crown". It's stuck ever since.

For football:I was pondering a name while watching some old game show. then it hit me: "Door Number Two". Never looked back.

For basketball:Sharpshooters. I always draft a deadly SG or just someone that doesn't miss.
