I was jsut looking at vidro's stats, I think I would have to say that as of right now, both giles and micheal young are superior. giles' numbers are better across the board, except for vidro's .325 to giles' .320. and given giels' team, I gotta go giles on this one.
surprised no one has mentioned Kent for 3rd place. I'd think that as of now would simply mean the best player now, not the best season so far. I guess I'm the only one that interpreted it that way
Anyway, Soriano then Boone for fantasy. Boone is probably the better player, but it depends on the team. Soriano is a better fit for the Yankees, since they already have Giambi hitting 3rd and Boone is better for the M's since Ichiro hits leadoff and IMO they don't have another legitimate 3rd hitter.
Yep, I said it. That's my ranking and I won't change it.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

Next year. And hit over .310. Bank on it.

How many of you looked at the stats before saying Soriano? I would take Boone over Soriano, no matter what the scoring system. The only format where it'd even be a question for me is 4x4, just because of the steals. Even then I'd take Boone. The more categories you add, the more Boone assumes his dominance over Soriano. In Sabermetric leagues, Soriano isn't good enough to wash Boone's underwear. In fact, in a Saber league, I wouldn't even put Soriano top 3 (consider that Milton Bradley has a higher SLG even though he has 15 fewer HR).
