theres been talk of him moving to the OF, but furcal has said he doesnt really want to move out there. Furcal has played 2b before so it wouldnt surprise me to see kent move to 1b and see how nomar does in lf or rf

It will be 2B or OF, If it happens. But who knows.... I'm not sure he has the gun for the outfield, maybe so.......

There's no way the Dodgers would even consider putting Nomar in the OF.
Too risky with him, and the guy's been doing a marvelous job at learning 1B.

Furcal in another position would be good, no? Eligibility in multiple positions is always good... Too bad he's been mostly worthless so far.

I've read in the LA Times a few days ago that once Cesar Izturis is activated from the DL, that Raffy will play 3B in place of Bill Mueller who will have to undergo knee surgery. He has been a bit suspect defensively at short and Izturis is probably better suited at the position, defensively speaking. The Dodgers are hoping to increase Izturis' trade value that way and remind prospective buyers of how spectacular a defensive infielder he is.

With Repko and Lofton under the weather, I'd expect either Furcal to move to LF and Aybar get regular time at 3B or have Furcal play 3rd with Ethier playing LF regularly, either way Izturis will be starting the games at SS I believe. Jose Cruz Jr. is a bum so he will get the raw end of the stick when Little Caeser returns. And Mueller will be out for a while.

Furcal has a good arm, most SS do, so I wouldn't be worried about him playing the OF.

ummm, not sure if you've ever even WATCHED baseball, but furcal has one of the strongest arms in the game. i think you need to put the little L back next to your name until you learn some more about the game.

If rondell white can play the OF, im pretty sure furcal can get by.
