Mike Piazza will serve as a DH in two of the three games in Seattle this weekend.

The plan is for David Ortiz to play two of the three games at first base while the Red Sox are in Philadelphia this weekend.
Mike Lowell will play two games at third base. Kevin Youkilis is expected to get one start at each position.

That is the huge news for fantasy owners as far as interleague play goes.

Thanks, I am guessing they'll split time too...but Ozzie can be unpredictable. :-[

I'm thinking maybe they'll take the opportunity to give Thome a rest. They may welcome the idea of letting last year's injury-ridden big fella take a well deserved recoup. day or two.

He'll definitely get some days off. But if they play back to back interleague series in NL parks, do you think they'll give Thome 6 straight days off? I really don't think you can leave him on the bench that long. Surely they'll play him for 2 or 3 of those games at least. :-?

Well, ChiSox open interleague play at home against the Cubbies. So he'll for sure play the 1st interleague series.
