From CBS Sportsline:
News: According the Elias Sports Bureau, Boof Bonser will replace Kyle Lohse in the Minnesota rotation and make his major-league debut Sunday, May 21 at Milwaukee.
Analysis: Bonser has been red-hot at Triple-A Rochester, posting a 1.88 ERA and 1.07 WHIP with 39 Ks through 43 1/3 innings. He should be owned in all AL-only leagues and could pitch his way onto mixed-league rosters with a good first couple of starts. When the Twins acquired him from San Francisco in the A.J. Pierzynski trade, Bonser was considered the better prospect between him and Francisco Liriano. He has the potential to make a nice impact over the remainder of the season for Fantasy play if he stays in the rotation.
Could be worth a shot if you need starting pitching. Cannot possibly be worse than Lohse! As a Minnesotan, I'm glad to see the Twins shaking thing up early in the season. 8 1/2 games back at this point what have you got to lose?
I was in Los Angeles, and the team was playing in San Diego, but I didn't know it. I had taken LSD at noon. I thought it was an off-day. At 1pm, my girlfriend and trip partner looked at the paper and said, "Dock, you're pitching today!"

Boof could be a solid pitcher. He was the center piece of the Pierzynsky trade. He's not Liriano for sure but he should definitely be better than Lohse/Silva.

Boof isn't worth a WW claim but a FA pickup maybe. This a step in the right direction for sure. Maybe Min can get a decent SS bat for a package including Lohse (Aybar or Betemit?). Also, I can forsee Durbin taking over for Radke when he moves on. If the Twins fall out I hope they trade the guy to a contender in need of an arm. They have Durbin to take over then Garza, they are set in terms of fine young arms! Now they just need to get their offense going. Keep it up Morneau!
....A former first-round pick of the Giants, he came to the Twins in 2004 as part of the A.J. Pierzynski trade. He doesn't throw 95 MPH any more, but he still reaches 90, has improved his curveball and changeup, and throws strikes...
