My hitting has been fine it seems like, but pitching is hurting. What do you guys suggest? I need A-Ram and Tex to heat up, I traded both of them when they were doing real bad, they have definitely improved since then. Will help in return!
i think you could probably use Glaus as some pretty good trade bait...he's got good value and you have good enough players to fill in from the bench. you lose some with Glaus but not to much with Hillenbrand and the others.
I would say that you could use Glaus as good trade bait for SP, or a solid closer (if such a thing exists!). Maybe wait until Tex heats up and offer one of your STUD 1B.....?
Yeah, I have a hard time letting go of Cabby because I had just traded Hanley, but is Nomah is going to continue to play like this, well then Cabby can go. Do I need another pitcher though? I figured with the addition of Beckett my numbers for pitching should get alot better. Also still have Harden on the D/L, and have been without him much of this season. I figure I should just wait for him to come back, try to stay afloat until then, and keep a close eye on the waiver wire for pitching.
I do not like your outfield one bit, the only guy thatz good is X.Nady who will breakout this year... U really need to get another solid outfielder by using your bench as bait maybe nomah or even T.GLaus for a solid outfielder
My outfield is definitely kind of crappy, but my hitting really hasn't been too much of a problem thus far. RBIs and homeruns are solid, and Dye has been good on his on streaks. I just don't see much of a point in trading Glaus for a player of the same caliber that plays a different position, but I am new to this so open to new ideas. I would like to work Nomar in more, and he could replace Glaus, so from that point of view I can understand your point. I could use some improvement on batting average, so maybe someone like Ichiro for Glaus would work.
Thanks for the ideas!
