This guy is tearing the cover off the ball.
Is he the real deal?
I didn't even remember he still was playing baseball.
.315 with 25 Rbi's?!?
I'm too lazy to make a sig at the moment

Agreed. He wasn't the same last year after freakin Erstad hit him. He should easily repeat his 04 numbers if he stays healthy.

But us Braves fans don't miss him since McCann is no slouch either.

Dropping Estrada is my first big regret this season. I was carrying him as my backup to Hernandez. I had him all last year and I saw rebound for the reasons already mentioned: injury free, no hotshot prospects looking over his shoulder in AZ, hitter's paradise in AZ.
I probably could've gotten decent value for him. Maybe a #3/4 SP, a #3/4 OF, or a lower tier closer.
I'm curious how his power numbers will shake out in Arizona. He's a contact and slap hitter with potential for a great average, but in that ballpark, some of those doubles could fly over the fence.
Let's go O's. Let's go Mets.

I could see .305-14-80RBI-65R out of Estrada if he stays healthy and the rest of the AZ lineup stays strong around him. I think that's on par with what a healthy Javy will put up (Javy will give you more dingers).
Johjima is anyone's guess.
Let's go O's. Let's go Mets.

Who do you think will have the better year, Estrada or Willingham? I have Willingham now, but Estrada is a FA. Should I get Estrada or stay with Willingham? Or even trade Willingham and pick up Estrada?

Stick with Willingham. Unless you get a good deal (say Halladay for Willingham), Willingham will put up more dingers.
