Hey Matsui wasn't burning up the stats charts this season while healthy. I'm a big fan o his however you have to weigh his post surgical potential, for perhaps the last 6 weeks of the season, against the potential opportunity lost in replacing some of his stats in your lineup. Just depends on your situation, unless however, you are in a keeper or have an open DL spot in his injured plagued season.

damn i sure hope he doesnt come back.. i drafted him pretty high and then had to let go of him.. hopefully its not any time soon..

Hey Matsui wasn't burning up the stats charts this season while healthy.

I'd just like to point out that Matsui got off to a slow start last season; he hit .250 in April and .271 in May and then went on a tear hitting .398 in June. Matsui was off to a slow start this season as well (.258 April, .267 in 9 games in May).

Whether Matsui can return for the final 4-6 weeks is one question, whether he can he be productive is another. Certainly the odds are against it .... but less likely things have happened. As long as it isn't hurting my team to carry him through the season, I'll keep him around and hope.
