Do you not agree with some of them? These are a few of rankings that I dont understand:
John Smoltz, 110?
Trevor Hoffman...He's ranked lower than Guardado
John Patterson, Dropping like 30 rankings? He's doing really good this year too, although injured (other injured guys like Derreck Lee or Sheets didnt drop that much)
Sheets is now ranked better than Zambrano
Ryan Howard drops rankings when Sexson doesnt

Good news, Pujols is #1
BOOOO. I don't like it. Alot of players dropped for no reason, and many others who deserved a drop in rank (J. Pierre) didn't move at all. It almost seems random how they did it.
Not sure why Yahoo's O-Rank matters. We all know Yahoo's rankings are pretty worthless, even though I give them some credit for improving a bit this year (preseason anyway).
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

Alot of yahoo public leaguers put great importance in the ranks. More savvy fantasy players know that they are often pretty bogus, but they mean something to your average one. So a drop in O-Rank can sometimes mean diminished trade value.

True. I'll give you that.
A suggestion though is that anyone who frequents this board should get into private leagues . Better competition, still free (most of them), and just generally better. Our Classifieds Forum has tons of openings every single year.

It's interesting that after the first quarter of the season, Yahoo! adjusted Tracy to like 20 ranks HIGHER, but Mora got adjusted to 30 ranks LOWER.
Even more interesting is the ACTUAL ranks I guess. With almost identical stats, Tracy is about 60 ranks higher (133) than Mora (192). How is that possible? Either sb's are way to heavily weighted, or rbi count a LOT more than runs in the ranking formula. Weird.
Im pretty sure that the Sb are waited much more. B/c RBIs and even runs are easier to get and more players get them. So if you have 5 more SB than a player the "fantasy value" of a player is much higher. Even if the other numbers are lower.
