Is Kazmir a Flash in the Pan?

Some moron dropped Kazmir...for...absolutely nobody at all. I think he was going for Hamels or something. I have a waiver claim in for Kazmir right now, and I'm hoping he flies under the radar because of all the recent hoopla for Hamels.

Kazmir is the real deal in my eyes.

As in... walks.

Ouch, I see a "Amazinz" return on that one shortly. :-D Nah. :-b

As far as Kazmir goes, he will give you some great k numbers, but his whip will be a bit high until he can control his walks. He is a very good young pitcher, that could one day become a bonafide ace if he can keep the injuries down due to his delivery.

I think I speak for most Mets' fans when I say that it was a sad day when Kazmir was traded for Victor Zambrano. Also, could you imagine how good the Mets would be right now if they had Kazmir? I would hope that even Amazinz would not try to defend this trade. I thought it was stupid when it happened, but it could go down as one of the worst trades of all time.

Yes Kazmir is legit, but he's not the man for you if you want an inning eater and/or wins. Kazmirs control seems to have improved so far this year but he's still not pitching effectively as he's capable of. He doesn't go more than 7 on most occasions because of at least a couple walks each game and 2+ innings of the D Rays bullpen is usually disastrous.

B-) This guy is gonna be a stud if he can keep his K/BB over 2

Well, I didn't get him. The first place team got him. I hate f'n waivers. I saw he was dropped 3 days ago and immediately jumped on him. But because of waivers, everyone eventually saw him and put a claim in. Argh!
