So what would be some obvious moves you would make with the following team?

Starting Pitchers
Jake Peavy
Josh Beckett
Francisco Liriano

Now that youo are about to get Hamels and Liriano starting I think your whole team is really really solid.

I'd say your biggest hole is closers. Maybe you can stick Roberts in as a starter and trade Damon for a good closer. Or you could keep damon and maybe someone will bite on either cantu now or Guillen when cantu comes back

I think your team is going to start to pick it up soon. Aram has been slumping, you got Cantu on the DL. Once those guys come back you'll have a really great offense to add to Vlad, Wells, Hafner, Tracy and Lopez

Unless you made some moves earlier it looks like all you had for starters were Peavy, Beckett, and Harang..a good group but you needed back up. With Liriano and Hamels and the future additions of Prior and Clemens your staff should be pretty dominant.


soyeah other than with relief, i think you just gotta sit tight for now.

I preach freakin patience but it's hard when you keep losing ground every week and you are already 6 weeks in...
