Beckett and blisters...LOOK OUT!

Postby Y`s Guy » Mon May 15, 2006 11:21 pm

I surfed over to see if the Sox game was over and there was Beckett being checked out after being pulled. The announcers went on showing graphics of his DL stints due to the blisters.

Stay tuned...

It was something wrong with his foot, not his finger.

Unless something new happened after

Its a shame, with only 80 pitches thrown, he could have been on the way to my 3rd CG in 2 days :D

The trainers were clearly examining his finger from the pictures I have seen.

He pulled blisters on me last year for the 2nd year running, which is why I vowed to stay well away from him. Last year, when he got put on the DL for blisters, I seem to remember them saying initially that it was a slight back problem. If it isn't blisters this time, it will be soon...

:)

You guys may be overreacting, whatever it was, it started on the mound and the trainer okayed him to keep pitching. If it'd been a blister, I think they'd have pulld him that instant... besides, he threw basically all fastballs yesterday.

The announcers were talking about blisters but they probably were speculating.

Love that Nugent wail..."I GOT BLISTAS ON MY BLISTAS!!"
