Need team help badly

Postby redsox2110 » Mon May 15, 2006 6:40 pm

Alright, so basically i was losing steals every week, so i swong a deal for crawford (traded beckett and a few free agents). I feel pretty good about my hitting now, hopefully lowell will pick up some power. So i got my main weekspot at 2nd base, and an empty bench to cover. I also feel like my pitching isnt as good as it should be. Can anyone help me out here (thinkin about maybe trading Michael Young for a pitcher/2nd) Anyone?

I think you have enough pitching as is in terms of quantity, but could afford an upgrade in quality. I would consider making some offers for a stud starter, and maybe dropping Soriano or Wandy for an upgrade somewhere else would be a good idea too.

thanks for your help w/mine. ;-D

Yeah your pitching does need an upgrade. You have no choice but to stay put with your hitting. What you could do is keep top RPs with great ratios and high strikeouts. I would just play one pitcher a week, the one with the best match-up. It's head to head, you do have Halladay, he will always post great matchups. Maybe it's an out of the box though, but it could work as a good strategy.
