What's the deal with Ambiorix Burgos? I thought he was pitching decent up until his last game ( 0.2ip 2h 4er 3bb 1k) Is he going to turn things around or is it just a matter of time until MacDougal gets his job back? Or will Burgos lose his job before then?

he's not going anywhere yet. he had a bad game. gotta wait and see how he bounces back. i can't imagine they will consider replacing him before macdougal gets back.

It's Mac's job went he comes back. As of now, there's no competitor for the job.

his performance yesterday and helton's 0-3 were the first impressions the new manager got of the two. haha, good time to get rid of both

LOL, when he pitches great we have supporters here saying how he should keep the job and MacDougie sucks. When he gets lit up, people are calling for his head and thinking MacDougie is the KC bullpen savior.

MacDougal will close, Burgos will be an above average set up man...been saying it all along and I won't stop now. KC needs a setup man worse than they need a closer to be honest. Burgos will actually fill the more important role, which is a good thing considering he is their best pitcher.
