What do you think about having Papi and Manny?

Would that be good for a fanatsy team? I know they are both beasts, but is there any draw back to having teammates that hit after each other?

It would be sick. I don't see any drawbacks to having two studs back-to-back in the same lineup on your fantasy team. If one misses the RBI opportunity, the other has a good chance of picking it up.

Generally, big thumbs up.

It is a bit risker play in a weekly league. But in roto, you know they're both going to put up huge numbers over the course of the year so no reason to worry whatsoever.

How can you not like that combo? Both had 140+ RBI's last year hitting 3-4. They won't hurt each other.

I would be thrilled to have both big papi and Manny on my fantasy squad. There would be no drawbacks when you can almost write in 125+ rbis from both of them.

sure there is a drawback, but only in head to head leagues.

if the red sox face a few tough pitchers in the same week you could easily have a subpar week. Generally it would be all positive because when manny drives in ortiz you get the run and the rbi. But lets say the sox face a few tough studs, have a rainout and and off day, you may only have "normal" manny and ortiz for 1 or 2 days in the week...but thats the only thing i can think of.
