CG, shutting out a good hitting team... 0.44 whip. I wonder how many people sold low on him after his Dodger debacle?

nice, didn't even have to buy low... love those freebies.... Pettite's consistent, some early rough starts usually then he dials it in and can be lights out for months at a time.

The only concern for me about Pettite is the Astro's hitters and the Lidge situation.

The complete game tonight was a nice reward for not giving up on him and benching him today. Our roto $ league counts CG's, so this should keep me up in 1st for a while longer. I hope this is the start of him turning things around!

If you looked at his game log you'll see he hasn't had two bad starts in a row all year. I started him with confidence even though I had a small lead in both ERA and WHIP. Lucky for me it paid off.
