Damned Rain

Postby SeovyeQuirsefron » Sun May 14, 2006 3:19 pm

It's cost me 2 1/2 gams of Ortiz.

And now it's raining in Cleveland where I own both closers -- Wickman and Todd Jones. Looks like I might not get a save out of either of them despite a close game.

The Rangers return to Boston the weekend of June 9th, 10th, and 11th. My guess -- doubleheaders on Saturday and Sunday.

Wouldn't it be great to be in Boston that weekend!!

I'd still much rather just have no rain and have the games played according to schedule. With double headers, even though you get the same number of games played in theory, you get short-changed because players tend to either not play as well or not play in all games involving double headers.

Not really. They'll make up the games. And then you'll get double Ortiz!!!

In theory, yes. But in actuality, probably not :~(

Get used to games in Boston being PPD... I live north of Boston and the outlook isn't looking very good.

So would we expect another rainout tomorrow (Monday), and plan accordingly by subbing out?
