Which Jones - Andruw or Chipper?

It is not as one sided as people may think. I like Chipper, he is still one of the best hitter in the game. And trust me, I know the history of his game.
But to say Chipper is all over Andruw as a outfielder is non sense. Andruw's defence is one of the best in the game.

Lets compare this year numbers so far:
Andruw Jones 101G 75runs 25hrs 74rbis 2sb .295avg
Chipper Jones 98G 65runs 18hrs 62rbis 2sb .289avg

Andruw always has the speed(how can a good defender has no speed?). But the Braves don't need him to run when all the guys are on base. I think Chipper is still a better hitter, he still need time to get used to outfield. however, I expected the long waited Andruw's breakout season.

I agree it is an open end question, so there is no right or wrong answer(until season end). Sure Chipper always has great 2nd half, but Andruw hasn't slow down since last year's all star break either. I was just refering to Jury's comments because it looks like he thinks all the Andruw pickers are ignorant.

I would go with Chipper, but then I starting thinking, how much Chipper and Andruw have complemented each other over the past few years. They have gone hand in hand and have helped each others stats a lot. I think they are a superb combo and then to put sheffield on top of that, whew. simply fantastic.

Chipper is an absolute stud, even when he's injured. Switch hitter, usually hitting well over .300 from both sides of the plate. So, that's why my vote goes to Chipper Jones! ;-D

If I was having a defense contest I'd take Andruw though. Nobody climbs the walls like he does! ;-D

Andruw has always had the potential to hit 25-25 or 30-30, but has just never panned out. He's not stealing this year at all, either. I'd take Chipper because of his higher average and similar power numbers.
