Nice move to fill out your offense while ARam was busy sucking and Lee is recovering from a broken wrist. And in a couple months, you'll have a pleasant logjam.

In the meantime you need a starter. How soon?

Well, depends whether or not you want to trade Swisher or Holliday now, while their value is as high as it will ever be, for pitching. Or if you want to wait until Lee is back and proves he can do something.

I'd plan on (a) M. Giles being effective. He's already on his way there, and (b) Escobar not being your #5 all year.

I'd be weighing my ability to sneak by for the next few weeks and re-evalue. Might not be a bad time, however, to start tossing out feelers. Maybe someone is panicked on C Zambrano and will move him cheaply...

You have a lot of guys that can cover a lot of categories. Not many true bombers, and not many burners either.

I noticed you have a lot of young pitching (as do I) and that could be a rollercoaster of a ride.

I would def be looking for an upgrade at SP...you have too many unproven guys...minus pettite of course...why not package a young guy and a hitter for an ace...
