I am looking to start a league with a slow live draft

Basically I am looking for 10-12 people for a roto 5x5 league. When I have aquired the 12 names (and e-mail addresses) we will begin a draft through e-mail (i.e.repond to all). If anyone does not make there selection within 12 hours an auto pick will be made for them based on "the sportingnews fantasy baseball" magazine top 300 (ouch!). I will record the selections and when Yahoo opens I will insert the selected rosters into a private league I will set up.

At that rate, how long will it take to complete the draft? Keeper league or single season?

If you get dedicated owners it shouldn't take too long. Usually two to three weeks max. People often make picks quickly. Also a good rule can be that after a person's third auto pick the league can give their team away. This keeps people on top of things. I would like to make it a keeper/ I can keep track of rosters.
