(I think) Will Carroll, of Baseball Prospectus, explained that the breaks were in different places, and I believe DLee's was the bone *Just above* the wrist, while Matsui's was directly on the wrist... I would check out one of his UTK columns at BP to be sure...
edit: according to UTK DLEE "broke the bones of the forearm near the wrist"

Thanks...great info. I hope this means DLee will have an easier time getting back to his pre-injury form than if he directly broke his wrist.
