is anyone actually starting washburn tonight?

It seems to me that Washburn always has trouble in the first inning. Then he either:

A) pitches out of it and does extremely well the rest of the game
B) pitches out of it but keeps getting in trouble and eventually loses the game
C) does not pitch out of it and gets completely rocked like your mom at Woodstock

I don't think he'll touch another performance like the one he had tonight. He's waiver wire material now.

Washburn finally got aggressive tonight and pitched with confidence. Of course, this was vs. a team that can't hit. I'd still be leery next time out, especially against that Toronto lineup.
