haha who knows, he's been sucking lately anyway, maybe this time off will snap him out of his slump. Couldn't hurt, and it beats starting an 0-4 OFer everyday.

it could be the spasms and the slump are related... hopefully there is some news about this by the games tomorrow... i'm in a weekly lineup league and will be sitting him unless i hear some very optimistic news

It isnt supposed to be anything serious. They wanted to give him more time to rest, also a lefty was on the mound today and with the offday Monday he should be back in the lineup Tuesday at Milwaukee.
