He's got a bone bruise on his heel, that could be the reason.

I think the worst time to have a heart attack is during a game of charades...or a game of fake heart attack.

Many have off years. This looks like one for Sexson. I traded him about three weeks ago before he hit the skids. He'll need many 2-3 hit games to bring his average up and the same with hrs. He strikes out way to much to get many multiy hit games . I see him .235-.240 25-28 hrs. 90 rbi

He might end up hitting .240 because of the cold streak, but there is no way he finishes at 25 HR's or 90 RBI if he plays full time all year. Baseball is streaky, just chant that over and over every time you are worried about anyone. Some of the top hitters in the game so far this year will be borderline waiver wire guys by the end of the year and some of the worst players will be in the MVP/CY races. It happens like this year after year after year.

This week it's a bone bruise. Last week he said he was physically fine "but feeling worse at the plate than he ever has." Three weeks ago it was his ankle.
Remember guys, he came out of the shoot red hot. After Week 1 he was the ML leader in RBIs.
His ever-horrendous K rate is actually about the same as it was last year. In fact his numbers across the board (Contact, GB/FB etc..) are not significantly different than in past years. The only major variation -- and the only one that really counts with Sexson -- is his HR/AB rate. So he's clearly not driving the ball well. Must be something physically wrong.
I stick with dramtic underperormers until June. Two weeks and counting ...
