Actually, the Yanks do have a few built back up now, but they would be foolish to immediately deplete it again. Cashman is pretty committed to keeping his young players at this time.

Just a rumor of course as the Yankees want to give Melky a chance in the OF first. I'm sure George will grow impatient very shortly though

I have also heard the names Reggie Sanders and Aubrey Huff thrown around the radio...
Basically I'm complicated.
I have a hard time taking the easy way
I wouldn't call it schizophrenia
But Ill be at least two people today

If that's OK

And I can go on, and on, and on...

But who cares?

That's the problem when you're talking about the Yankees having a hole. Everyone who plays that position, who is in a contract year, who is on a losing team, anything, someone comes up with rumors that they will be traded to the Yankees.

And then, generally, one of the rumors comes true, because the Yankees always get their man.

I listen to MLB on XM radio channel 175 just about all day every day. And I haven't heard this as of yet.

Thats usually news before it even hits the web. I do confess though it's been 36 hours since I've listed to it though. :)

The Yankees don't have the talent to trade at this point.

And, trading away young talent is what ruined the team in the first place.

If they were smart, they'd just suck it up for the next 2 years and start rebuilding around A-Rod, Jeter, Cano, and Matsui.

A 200 million dollar team that needs to rebuild. Excuse me while I laugh a little. The Marlins need to rebuild. All the Yankees need to do is go shopping from some fading, overrated talent and demand answers when they fall short in the playoffs again.
