Yep. Suppan would be alright too, but the Bucs and Sox might not be trading for a while after the deal with Lyon's injury.

i'd like to see the cubs spend some of the money that they've recently admitted to having on either vazquez or guerrero.

shuttle sosa out of town, bring in vladdy... better team.

vazquez would be nice in place of clement or estes, but not as nice as dontrelle would'a been.

I wouldn't complain if the Sox moved Kim to the rotation and picked up Williamson from the Reds, but that's highly unlikely. Suppan wouldn't be so bad, but like Ponson I just don't believe him. All we need is another one year Burkett to show up to puke our season away.

On a side note, Vlad to the Cubs would be alright. As long as the Gobblin' Yanks don't get him then that's fiiiiiine with me.

unless someone offers a really dumb trade, vasquez isnt going anywhere, no matter how much anyone wants him.

portland doesnt wantt the expos either, they dont even ahve money for a stadium.

Hey thanks! Was rather surprised when I heard the news, for I didn't know Theo Epstein read this board and gathered ideas on how to make the team better. :-D

So Theo, if you're reading this, go get Javier Vazquez and/or Barry Zito. Throw a few minor leaguers away and dude, the Sox would be awesome. There's some more free advice for ya, Theo. ;-D

As far as I understand, there still hasn't been a decision on the House Bill that would secure financing.
