I'd bet Lidge gets the closer job back. From what I saw, his velocity was still great, he was just missing on location... That tells me it's mechanical and not physical.... A little tme watching video comparing his lights out period vs. his rough last few weeks should show what the problem is and a few some bullpen sessions and he should be fine.

And Lidge's drubbing last year in the playoffs was nothing like Kim's IMO. He just got beat, he didn't get humiliated over and over like Kim.

Now when I say his location was off, I'm not talking Mitch Williams off... When WIlliams was off, he could take your head off. With Lidge, it's a matter of a few inches, not a trip to the ER or the backstop.
